INERCALC

It’s called INERCALC and it's designed for the building professionals. The new software, developed by the Extrusal Group, allows a suitable and easy way of calculate the thermic performance (Uw) to Extrusal windows.
Developed initially in Portuguese, INERCALC is an excellent tool for the market because it combines in a single way the thermal performance calculation according to the standard EN ISO 10077-1, of a complete window including glass, where the Ug values must be introduced by the user.
The building solutions of the windows are categorized in three classes (casement, sliding and compounded) that intuitively allows the user to get all the information he needs. After selecting the type of building solution, the user must insert the windows dimensions, the aluminum profile view (fixed + moveable) and the thermic performance of the glass.
The values (Uf) used for the calculation of the average values were determined by notified laboratories in accordance with the standard EN 14351-1 + A1 NP, in which they were made simulations in THERM 5 software, developed at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL ).
The INERCALC is an Extrusal software, and is free of charge for Extrusal customers and all building professionals.
