A tourist development originating from the reconstruction of a ruined farm that appeals to the sensations and with a unique authenticity.
Designed to awaken sensations, Sensi Azores Nature & Spa has as one of its strong elements the light that circulates throughout the space, including in the rooms. A space that combines the concept of a welcoming hotel to make people feel at home. The 21 rooms at Sensi Azores Nature & Spa even offer several light scenes that provide a “feeling of well-being”.
Preserving the authentic and, consequently, the original building, the 10 thousand square meters of property have two thousand square meters of construction, all designed in detail by the architect Luís Almeida e Sousa, but also with the owners' signature.
To respect the structure of the building, Sensi Azores Nature & Spa offers eight different typologies divided into 21 rooms. The hotel has a restaurant, bar with a living room, and outside, a terrace and a swimming pool with sun loungers which, due to the unit's location on the west coast of the island, gives it a privileged stage for watching the sunset. The former caretaker's house gave rise to a spa, which has a couple's massage room and an individual massage room, a sauna and Turkish bath, and a heated indoor pool with a waterfall overlooking the sea.
