Your data will be collected and processed by Extrusal, S.A., legal person number 500 103 160, headquartered at Rua do Sacobão, Moirinhos, Aradas, in Aveiro. This company is responsible for the processing of personal data within the meaning of the General Regulation on Data Protection.

Processing and Changing

By making your personal data available to Extrusal, the data subject acknowledges and consents to its processing in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Whenever it appears necessary, we will amend this Privacy Policy without the need for any prior authorization.

The most up-to-date version will always be available on this website and will govern its use of user information. We suggest that users regularly consult the Privacy Policy, keeping abreast of any changes to it and how their personal data is used.

 

 

What is Personal Data

It is any information, of any nature and regardless of the respective support, relating to a natural person, directly or indirectly, identified or identifiable (data subject).

What Personal Data is collected and processed

The personal data collected by Extrusal are limited to those strictly necessary for the purpose of the treatment, such as name, address, taxpayer number, telephone number, e-mail.

Extrusal does the photographic and multimedia recording, in the factory, in works or in events organized by it. The captured images will be stored by the Company and used in its external communications, namely, in publications, newsletter, press releases, websites or promotion of projects under development.

When We Collect Personal Data

Extrusal collects personal data when users subscribe to the newsletter, fill in a form or enter information on the website, make requests for information, or in other existing contacts.

Extrusal collects personal data from its customers when making a purchase or ordering products or services.

The provision of incorrect or inaccurate data is the sole responsibility of the data subject.

 

For What Purposes We Collect and Process Your Personal Data

The collection and processing of personal data by Extrusal has the following purposes:

  1. a) Marketing;
  2. b) Recruitment and Spontaneous Candidacy;

     
    1. a) Marketing:

Extrusal may process the personal data collected to send the respective holder information about products and services marketed by it. This processing of personal data will only be carried out with the express consent of the holder, provided, in particular, when subscribing to our Newsletter.

Users can register to receive the Newsletter by filling in the e-mail in a form found on the Extrusal website. Users' personal data are exclusively used to receive the Newsletter.

Consent to the processing of personal data for direct marketing purposes can be revoked at any time by the holder. If any user of the Extrusal website wishes to unsubscribe from any e-mail sent by Extrusal, just send an e-mail to privacidade@extrusal.pt and Extrusal will remove the user from all types of electronic correspondence.

Personal data collected for this purpose will be kept for 2 years of inactivity.

 

    1.b) Recruitment and Spontaneous Candidacy:

Candidates can apply for a recruitment process through an online application form, via the Extrusal portal, or by filling out a specific form/printed “Candidate Identification Form for Admission”, at the Company itself.

Spontaneous applications must be made through an online application form via the Extrusal portal or by filling in the “Applicant Identification Form for Admission” in the Company itself.

The Personal Data collected during the personnel selection and recruitment process and through spontaneous applications, and subsequent information, will be used by Extrusal solely for this purpose.

Candidates' personal data will be kept for 2 years.

 

Sharing or Transferring Personal Data

Extrusal does not sell, exchange or transfer personal data to third parties.

The personal data collected by Extrusal may be shared and provided to other companies in the Group, its affiliates, for legitimate business purposes. The list of these companies can be consulted at https://www.extrusal.pt

In situations where personal data are transferred to other companies of the Extrusal Group, the levels of confidentiality and protection will be fully guaranteed.

 

Extrusal may use service providers/subcontractors, namely for the maintenance, accommodation and management of its IT systems and equipment, and these entities are obliged to maintain secrecy and guarantee security in relation to the personal data to which, for this purpose, they have access, and must not use this data for any other purposes, or for their own benefit, nor relate them to other data they have.

Personal data may also be made available to the courts and other competent authorities, in strict compliance with the provisions of the Law.

Personal Data Retention Period

Extrusal retains personal data during the retention periods identified above and only for the necessary period of time, or for the fulfillment of obligations to which it is legally subject. In any case, once the relationship with the holders of personal data has ended, they are no longer processed for commercial purposes.

 

Security and Confidentiality of Personal Data

Extrusal strives to implement all necessary measures to preserve the confidentiality and security of the personal data collected and processed, preventing them from being distorted, damaged, destroyed, or that unauthorized third parties have access to them.

Technical and organizational security measures were developed, especially with regard to information systems, in order to keep information safe, accurate, up-to-date and complete. However, we do not control all the risks related to the use of the Internet, alerting, from now on, to the existence of possible risks associated with its use and functioning, and, consequently, the sharing of personal data in this way.

 

Rights of the Subject of Personal Data

In accordance with current legislation, the holder of personal data has the right to:

  • access to your personal data;
  • rectification of the information, if it is incorrect or incomplete;
  • request the deletion of your personal data;
  • revoke, at any time, your consent to the processing of personal data;
  • obtain its limitation or portability to the extent applicable.

Your requests will be treated with special care, so that we can ensure the effectiveness of your rights. You may be asked to prove your identity in order to ensure that the sharing of personal data is only carried out with the holder.

 

The holder of the personal data must bear in mind that, in certain cases, due to legal imperatives, his request may not be immediately fulfilled. In any case, you will be informed of the measures taken in this regard, within a maximum period of one month from the moment the request is made.

 

The holder of personal data has the right to ask Extrusal to erase his data, which has the obligation to erase them, without undue delay, when one of the following reasons occurs: the personal data is no longer necessary for the purpose that motivated the its collection or treatment; the subject has withdrawn his consent to the processing of data (in cases where the treatment is based on consent) and there is no other basis for the respective treatment; or, the data subject opposes the treatment and there are no prevailing legitimate interests that justify the treatment.

 

The holder of the personal data may also withdraw his consent at any time, if the consent is legally necessary for the processing of personal data, through the means made available for this purpose by Extrusal.

 

However, the withdrawal of consent does not compromise the lawfulness of the treatment carried out based on the consent previously given nor the subsequent processing of the same data, based on another legal basis, such as the fulfillment of the contract or legal obligation to which Extrusal is subject.

 

 

Use of Cookies

 

As already mentioned, Extrusal collects and processes the personal data necessary for the availability and operation of its website, guaranteeing, however, adequate levels of security and protection of the personal data of its users. For this purpose, several physical, logical, technical and organizational security measures were adopted in order to protect personal data against its dissemination, loss, misuse, alteration, treatment or unauthorized access, as well as against any other form of illicit treatment. Notwithstanding the security measures adopted by Extrusal, the user must keep the access codes secret, not sharing them with third parties, and must also follow the recommended security practices, namely regarding the installation and updating of the necessary security applications, namely, the antiviruses.

 

Extrusal uses cookies on its website, considering as such, small text files with relevant information that the access device (computer, mobile phone/smartphone or tablet) loads, through the internet browser (browser), when a website is visited by the user.

 

The cookies used by Extrusal improve the performance and browsing experience of its users, increasing, on the one hand, the speed and efficiency of response and, on the other hand, eliminating the need to repeatedly enter the same information. The placement of cookies not only helps the website to recognize the user's device the next time the user visits it, but it will also be essential for its operation. These cookies are used only for the purpose of creating and analyzing statistics, without ever collecting personal information. Thus, Extrusal can provide a high quality experience by customizing its offer and quickly identifying and correcting any problems that arise.

 

Also in terms of validity, there are two types of cookies:

 

(i) Permanent cookies – these are cookies that are stored on the access devices (computer, mobile phone, smartphone or tablet), at the level of the internet browser (browser), and are used whenever the user visits the Extrusal website again. In general, they are used to direct navigation according to the user's interests, allowing Extrusal to provide a more personalized service;

 

(ii) Session cookies - these are temporary cookies, which are generated and are available until the session ends. Google Analytics

 

Extrusal uses Google Analytics, a service provided by the company Google Inc. (Google). In turn, Google Analytics uses “cookies” to analyze the flow of the Extrusal website. The information generated by “cookies” about users' browsing on the Extrusal website is normally transferred to a Google server in the USA, where it is stored. If the option to hide the IP by the user of the Extrusal website is activated, this information will be abbreviated in advance by Google in the member states of the European Union or other countries outside that are signatories of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the IP address transferred to the Google server in the USA without being abbreviated in advance. On behalf of the Extrusal website, Google uses the information to analyze the flow of the website, generating activity reports in order to promote other types of services related to what is most commonly explored on the Extrusal website. The IP address identified by Google Analytics will not be added to any information collected by Google.

Extrusal also uses Google Analytics to analyze information from AdWords and the DoubleClick “cookie” for statistical purposes. Users can disable this feature via Ads Preferences Manager (http://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/?hl=pt).

 

Extrusal may also use cookies when opening newsletters/emails, for statistical purposes, which allow us to know if they are opened and to check clicks through links or advertisements within the newsletter. The user always has the possibility to deactivate the sending of newsletters/email through the specific option in the footer of the same.
