A project dedicated to the development of an automated, high-performance aluminium facade system. The initiative aims to add photovoltaic panels to aluminium shading sheets, integrate a Plug&Play system for sensing environmental conditions and, finally, Machine Learning, which allows automatic adjustment of the environment inside the house in accordance with the measured parameters, or suggest an adjustment to the user, thus offering them the management of their own comfort.
“Passive, comfortable and healthy home solutions” is a project within the Illiance agenda program, developed in partnership with Extrusal and CeNTI - Center for Nanotechnology and Smart Materials. This workpackage focuses on efficiency, functionality and performance solutions, which aim to develop new knowledge and technical and technologically innovative solutions/products, which allows improvement in the functioning of residential environments, by reinforcing comfort, health and the ability to monitor actively and permanently improve human health.
Innovation combined with this axis of the program also aims to develop new knowledge, and solutions/products that promote efficiency, such as thermal and acoustic efficiency, for greater comfort in homes.
The ILLIANCE Agenda addresses carbon neutrality associated with the buildings sector, through the design, development and industrialization of complementary technologies, associated with 3 fundamental pillars, namely: health, comfort and sustainability.
These innovative technologies are integrated into a series of projects, which materialize the following integrated vision - "Healthy, comfortable and sustainable buildings".
